GOD IS IN THE DETAILS

Imagine that you receive a diagnosis and are told you need surgery. “Let’s schedule it.”, might be your response here in America. The RMM team met a man in such a situation on our most recent mission trip. He, however, could not say “Let’s schedule it”, because in his country you cannot have surgery unless you bring the supplies needed to perform the surgery.

Samuel (name changed) had been waiting for over a year, enduring a very painful bladder condition and having to use a catheter to pass urine.  He had run out of hope because he had no way to obtain required medical supplies.

On this day he came looking for relief of his pain.  Samuel never anticipated that the God who he denied and did not know, would provide.

In the months leading up to Samuel walking into the medical camp, God had provided RMM with donations of surgical trays, urinary catheters, sterile gloves, surgical bandages, tape, and the list goes on.  Everything Samuel needed for surgery was there on the day he visited the camp!

Samuel did not believe in God, however, on that day, the medical doctor and RMM team members prayed for him, provided his supplies and gave him hope that he could be healed.  Please pray for Samuel to see that these gifts and the hope that he now has are from Jesus, the Savior.
