Our 2^nd mobile medical clinic, in a closed country, is presenting new challenges to RMM. We have become acquainted with many people who have very specific needs and no way to have those needs fulfilled.

We are asking YOU to sponsor our friends who are in desperate need of medicine and medical supplies (names have been changed to protect our friends).

Ava-52 year old female with Type 1 Diabetes. Because of the scarcity of insulin and her lack of funds to purchase medications even when they are available, she has been cutting her dose in half and even into fourths to make her insulin last longer. As a result, she has a significantly deep, non-healing diabetic foot ulcer. A year of the insulin that Ava needs is only $48. USD.

Will you sponsor her need for insulin for the next year?

Carlos-44 year old male who had surgery after a debilitating injury. He needs medications for 6 months to have the best hope of a successful recovery. His medications for 6 months will be $64. USD.

Will you sponsor his medication needs for the next 6 months?

Future Surgical Patients-surgical patients in this closed country are required to provide their own surgical supplies -suture material, dressings, etc.- before surgery is scheduled due to a lack of supplies in government run hospitals. Of course, most citizens cannot afford to purchase these items and therefore, cannot have needed surgeries. Surgical supplies for 1 typical surgery are approximately $72. USD.
